Victory, Vacation, and Procrastination

Dear Peeps,
Remember that time when I told you I would keep up with my blog?
Remember me saying I am a HORRIBLE procrastinator?
Add the two and you get a procrastinating blogger...Yup that is me.
Please love me through it.

In other news...
I will begin nursing school on August 23rd and I am thrilled to have been one of the 400 candidates to fill the 70 spots. VICTORY! With that being said, I get to quit my job in 4 weeks!!!
SQUEEEE!
As you can tell, I am super thrilled about this but also a little scared due to the financial situation that it will put us in. Luckily, Hubs and I have anticipated this happening and have set aside some savings to help cushion ourselves until my schooling is over.

Hopefully, Hubs and I will be able to take a bit of a vacation before all of the schooling chaos begins. We were planning on going camping for a few days back in May but we couldn't find a sub for Hubs' paper route. Soooo, we have started looking early in hopes of being able to get away for a few nights together...even if it means just going on a small road trip. (because we are obviously going to be on a tight budget)

But...I think that is all for now.

Busy Girl!

So I'm sitting here thinking how busy this entire year is gonna become and realizing that I must compromise something. Between work, school, friends, family, me time, and Cheesie Pea I barely have enough time to breath.
I'm a BUSY girl.
But what's a girl to do?
 Give up family time?
Not happenin'!
I mean who would want to give up these smilin' faces?

Give up school?
Nope!

I'm going to be a FABULOUS nurse!

Friends?
The ones I have are dear to my heart.
I know I have neglected many of you. Just know that you haven't been forgotten.
Love you guys!

Sleep?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Those of you who know me well.....
Well let's just say I cherish my zzz's.
SRSLY.

ZZZ...

I adore being creative and that is what enjoy doing the most.
I love to see smiles on the customer's faces when they see or where our products.
Therefore, I am gonna try my hardest to keep up with our lovely store and to keep you guys posted on the latest Cheesie Pea events....

Which leads me to the Rogers Mops Craft Fair that is being held on April 10th!
Come check us out! It is sure to be a fun event!

Me time?
I suppose I will have to give a little to get a little right?
As always, I will have to compromise my time....or maybe manage it better?
Hmmm....I'll figure it out.

Things as of lately...

So I am totally aware that I suck at blogging....I've been informed by many of my "stalkers" that I am becoming inconsistant with my occasional confessions/rants/favorites/this is what I am doing blogs. It's all because I like to keep you on the edge of your seat in anticipation to see when I might post my latest rage page.
Jay-kay!

I am a habitual procrastinator...Srsly.
I'm the worst...EVER.

Ok, so now that's out of the way...

Things I've been doing lately....

The Cheesie Pea Boutique is officially up and going and my sister and I have been creating product faster than I ever thought possible.
This is partly because we will be an exhibitor at the Rogers Mops Craft Fair on April 10th. We are extremely excited about this opportunity to get the Cheesie Pea name out there.
Be sure to come see us!

In other news, my sister Heather landed a full time job as a phlebotomist at the clinic she loves.
Yay for her!

I have been super busy with school and work and of course Cheesie Pea that I barely have time for family.
Sad.
This is super upsetting for me because we all know family should be a priority. So.....
I've decided to take a few days off during Spring Break to go see my Momma!
I am uber excited!
Srsly.

Anyways, I think that's all for now.
I will Try to blog more often...
Maybe.
KThxBye!

Monday Confessions!

So I suppose its time for another edition of Monday Confessions.I have mixed feelings about my dreaded spouts of honesty.
Some weeks I have something fun to confess, sometimes not so much.
But overall I guess they bring me closer to my followers.
Plus, who wants to know every little detail about me? Ha! Nobody...I'm lame. Srsly.

So this week I decided to open up my own Etsy shop. I'm so thrilled and anxious to see how well it does.
Ill be sure to post a link when it's open.

Did I ever tell you that I despise homework? Especially ridiculous busy work.
I mean can we actually do something significant that might benefit the world?
Prolly not.
It's Annoying...with a capital "a".

I'm getting off track her....ok Monday Confessions....

I have OCD.
SRSLY.

Not the kind where I have to perform rituals to get through day, but the kind where my life has to be somewhat organized or I freak!

And technically, OCD should be officially renamed CDO...in alphabetical order like everything is supposed to be.

I'm just sayin'.

And what is really strange, is that this OCD is at its worse when I'm at work.
Everything must be in its place straight and organized.
Yes, I will freak if you put a pen in the highlighter cubby or the white-out pen in the paper clip cubby.
Or if you draw squigglies on the desk calendar.
Or if you leave the cordless phone off the charger....I know that a cordless phone is meant to roam with you ...but geez dont lay right next to the charger on the desk. Ugh.
Ugly handwriting gets to me too. I'm sorry you were not all blessed with beautiful handwriting but if you expect me to read it, then please slow down and write like you actually made it out of the 4th grade.

These things drive me crazy!
Just so you know!

Monday Confessions...

While facebooking and chatting with my good friend Chris, I found it extremely difficult to come up with my next blog topic. After much discussion, Chris decided that since my blog is named Creative Confessions that I should create a confession blog. Genius!

So...after thinking about some things that I should/need to confess I decided on one. I know you are all hoping that I will reveal a juicy secret of mine...but NO. There are just some things a girl must keep to herself. Srsly.

Those of you who know me best know that I have been on my weight loss journey for 18 days now. 18 Grueling days.
Not only do I feel better but I also look better.
Therefore, I am happy to announce that I have now lost
14
lbs so far!
Yay me!

Anyways, back to my confession. I want to confess that....

I am beautiful.

That's right! I am beautiful.
This may seem a little vain. But those who have known me for most of my life know that I have NEVER been able to say that about myself. EVER.

My husband has always told me that I'm beautiful along with my family and friends. But I never truly believed it until now.
I really feel like I am on a good path.
I feel beautiful...inside...and out.

Thanks for all of your continuous support. It means more to me than you will ever know.
XOXO

I think I will start calling Mondays....Monday Confessions. Every week. Get the week started off right. This will make my blog the perfect definition of awesomeness!
Srsly.

Faves...

So I randomly decided that the topic of my blog today should be my favorite things because that's what I want to write about. I understand that the topic of this blog may be totally random and useless but who cares. Deal with it. Its my blog.

Things I love....

Sundrop. It's epic.

Fuzzy socks. Every girl should have at least one pair. Don't think so? Too bad!

Icicles. They are pretty. Ice on roads...not so much.

My new juicer. It is pure awesomeness.

Laughter. Always makes me feel better.

The source of my laughter. Yes she is crazy. Yes I still love her. She is special.

And again...check out that lazy eye...i still heart you.

Llamas. No, you are not hallucinating. I love llamas. Srsly. Hubs says they spit. Frankly, I'm ok with that.

Pickles. For all you baby rushers...no I'm not pregnant. Get over it.

My blue Canon Powershot.

Nicholas Sparks. not only is he an amazing writer but he isn't too bad for an old guy. ;)

Busy Bee Lauren because she is amazingly awesome. Check out her blog. It is epic. Srsly.

The Razorbacks. For obvious reasons. They are the epitome of awesomeness.

Carnivals. But not carnies. Carnies = no bueno.

Snow angels. But not the wet clothes that develop from flopping down in the snow to make said snow angel. Soggy clothes are disgusting. Srsly.
I guess I could add Kayleigh to this one too since she is the cute lil one in the photo. She makes me smile.

Abstract photography. I need to take more of these pictures.

Tacos. These should be banned. They are not great on the diet. But they are oh so good. minus onions.

Family. Ignore the fat girl in the front with the gray razorback shirt. She jumped in the picture, I have no clue who she is.

Siblings. We like each other. Sometimes.

Veterans...including my Dad. Thanks for my freedom. I will be eternally grateful.

And of course...Hubs. He is my rock.

These are just a few...I will update more later.

What are your favorite things?

Ahhh Love!

It's been a few days since I have posted largely due to the fact that Hubs has been off for the last two days with me. Anyone who knows our situation knows that these moments don't occur very often so i wanted to give him my full and undivided attention. We have enjoyed our time together these past days and wish that it could last longer but I guess all good times have to come to an end eventually.

I hate to be mushy but I love him. Srsly.

He is my rock and my strength.
I fall in love with him everyday all over again. I know that sounds cliche' but its the truth.
He shows me everyday what it feels like to be unconditionally loved and I am eternally grateful.
And by unconditionally, I mean even first thing in the morning when my hair is a mess, I haven't shaved my legs in a few days, and I have no makeup on...he still loves me.

I will never forget these words that were spoken to us on our wedding day.

"A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up.
Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails, for love is of God."

I love you Hubs!
